Easiest Way To Unlock All Characters In Smash Bros Ultimate

          For anyone wondering what the easiest way to unlock all fighters in Smash Ultimate look no further. While there are many ways to unlock fighters including the campaign (World of Light) and random events, by far the fastest way is to play through the classic mode with certain characters. The way the unlock system works in smash ultimate is that when you beat the classic mode with certain characters you will have the opportunity to fight someone from their “pool” or “route” of characters. The characters usually will appear in a certain order based on which one you play but if you lose to that character once you will most likely have to fight other characters in their pool before you can get back to them. As long as you play the head character of a pool or one of the characters in the pool you will be able eventually unlock all characters in that pool. After you have unlocked all characters in a respective pool you will have to swap pools and play a different character from another pool to continue unlocking characters this way.

          This is by far the fastest way to unlock characters in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. If you are a “mainer” and like to play from a small selection of fighters then this method will allow you to get those characters in the quickest and most efficient way possible. Remember that different characters you fight will be harder to beat than others and you may not be able to beat and unlock every character the first time you challenge them. As of right now it does not seem as though the classic mode has to be played on any particular difficulty but I have not tried tampering with the difficulty settings. It also seems as though you may pay coins and continue the classic mode if you die and still obtain the ability to unlock the character, although this may have been a stroke of luck.
